|"Beni" means red. Japanese used to call fruits "red stuff"
because of their bright colors (on the other hand, call vegetables "green stuff") before World War II.
|"-man" means a wide variety of stuffs or many kinds of stuffs.|
So, "Beniman" is a fruit shop offering a wide variety of red stuff.
We have four seasons in Japan and enjoy seasonal atmosphere through "taste of seasons". Besides, fruits in Japan are of such high quality that visitors to Japan praise the delicate taste compared to those in their own countries.
Perhaps because of being in such a wonderful environment, we Japanese are generally unfamiliar with dried fruits except for traditional dried persimmons. However, dried fruits have been very familiar and a part of life since ancient times in other countries. Also, many different ways to enjoy eating them have been developed.
Constituents of dried fruits have long been gaining a lot of attention. This is because fibers, minerals, antioxidants, etc. contained in dried fruits play extremely effective roles to our health.
Beniman carefully selects and offers only high-quality dried fruits from all over the world including Japan.
We, first of all, care for "tasting good" as well as being effective to our health.
Dried fruits that are tasty, stylish, cute, and easy-to-carry.
Drying of fruits is one method to take in fruits on a regular basis.
Recently, we opened a dried fruit shop to hope that as many people as possible would enjoy fruits.
